We at Can Sports Center are looking for a basketball coach that is committed to the development of our basketball players. With Can Sports Center opening soon, we are seeking a coach who is interested in establishing a long-term commitment with us, and our players, and dedicated to fostering the growth of our athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing comprehensive training plans to enhance players’ skill levels and overall performance.
- Providing personalized technical guidance to players, including offence, defence, passing, shooting, and other skills.
- Establishing a positive team culture to promote cooperation, support, and respect among team members.
- Coordinating with management to ensure the team’s development goals align with the organizations overall strategy.
- Establishing good communication with parents and players to relay training schedules, match information, and team updates in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching youth basketball Rep teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relations skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- First aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
- NCCP Certification is an asset but not required
