Are you passionate about basketball and love working with kids?
This summer, CAN Sports Center is excited to offer Basketball Camp Counselor positions—both paid and volunteer roles—at our Markham and Etobicoke locations!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic individuals to join our dynamic coaching team. Whether you’re a high school student looking to gain experience, or a basketball enthusiast hoping to give back to the community, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, mentor young athletes, and be part of a fun and inspiring environment.

📅 Camp Dates

July 7 – 8 weeks of action-packed basketball fun and youth development!

Available Positions

  • Paid Counselor Positions
  • Volunteer Counselor Positions (Eligible for community service hours)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with basketball drills and games
  • Supervising campers and ensuring a safe, positive environment
  • Supporting head coaches and program leaders with daily setup
  • Encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence among youth

Who We’re Looking For

  • Individuals with basic basketball knowledge
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Experience working with kids (an asset, but not required)
  • Minimum age: 15+
