Basketball
Kevin, Head Director of Basketball at Can Sports Center, standing at 6’10½”, began his basketball journey thanks to his height, which naturally led him to the sport. It quickly became a perfect fit, and his talent flourished at Humber College, where he was part of teams that won consecutive Ontario championships and a national title in his first year. These early successes fueled his confidence, pushing him to seek even greater challenges, leading him to Duquesne University. There, he competed for three seasons (one as a redshirt), gaining invaluable experience and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Kevin’s professional basketball career spanned 13 seasons, taking him across the globe to countries like Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, France, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Belize, China, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Along the way, he claimed championships in Bahrain and Mexico, while relishing the chance to connect with new cultures and people around the world. A highlight of his career was representing the Canadian national team, where he helped his team win the prestigious Jones Cup in Taiwan. He also competed in major tournaments across China, Taiwan, Australia, and Canada.
